Sheriff: Wellston woman seriously injured in yesterday’s rollover

CUSTER TWP. — A 23-year-old Wellston woman was “seriously injured” in a rollover crash Thursday afternoon, June 4, and flown to Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids by Aeromed, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

The woman was injured after the vehicle she was driving lost control on a dirt road; ran off the road and rolled over several times, ejecting her. She was transported to Spectrum Health in Ludington by Life EMS and then airlifted to Grand Rapids.

The crash occurred at 4:28 p.m. at Hansen and Bean roads.
