According to sheriff’s deputies on the scene, she was following her boyfriend, who was in another vehicle. The vehicle appeared to have gone off the south side of the road and then re-entered the roadway, traveling to north side of the road and then, about 100 feet to the east, left the road again and then rolled over. The vehicle landed on its tires facing west, the opposite direction it was traveling. The woman was ejected from the pickup, possibly out the rear window, according to deputies. She was not wearing a seatbelt.

The woman was transported by ambulance to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital. Her condition was unknown but she was conscious.

The vehicle is currently under investigation by Mason County Sheriff’s Office. Also responding to the scene were Scottville Fire Dept., Custer Fire Dept. and Life EMS ambulance.
