LUDINGTON — Dozens of people stood and sat on the north lawn of the Mason County Courthouse Thursday afternoon and prayed for the nation and the community. This year’s National Day of Prayer theme was “Lord, Hear our Cry,” from the Bible verse 1 Kings 8:28. Speakers prayed for the U.S. government, the military, local government, local business, local families, local schools and local first responders.
