Police seek charges against Free Soil woman for harboring runaway

VICTORY TWP. — Charges of harboring a runaway in connection with the missing/runaway case involving 15-year-old Chyenne Nicole Merrill are being sought against a 45-year-old Free Soil woman who was arrested Thursday, March 19, at 1:06 p.m. on a charge of second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) following a traffic stop at US-31 and Mavis Road. The Mason County Sheriff’s Office has requested a warrant.

Chyenne was reported missing Wednesday, March 18, and was found Thursday.
