Police seek help in finding missing girl

SHERMAN TWP. — The Mason County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing/runaway juvenile.

Chyenne Nicole Merrill is a 15-year-old white female who is 5’1” and 160 lbs with red hair and blue eyes. She was last seen by her mother in the area of Tuttle and Sugar Grove roads Monday afternoon, March 16, according to an MCSO press release. She was reportedly at the Mason County Central High School Tuesday morning, March 17,  but did not attend class.

“There is information Chyenne may be in the company of an unknown 45-year-old black male in

an unknown vehicle possibly heading to the Chicago area,” the press release states.
