Suspect arrested for stolen handgun, marijuana possession

PERE MARQUETTE TWP. — A 20-year-old Ludington man was arrested by Mason County Sheriff’s Office deputies Monday, March 16, at 9:16 a.m. following a traffic stop after he was reportedly found in possession of a stolen 9mm handgun and suspected marijuana at US-10 and Jebavy Drive.

– 1:25 p.m., (MCSO), a 14-year-old Scottville youth was cited in juvenile court for domestic violence, 3000 block of N. Tuttle, Sherman Twp.

– 1:46 p.m., (LPD), fraud, 1000 block of N. James St.

– 2:59 p.m., (MSP), one-car property damage accident, Tyndall and Decker, Branch Twp.

– 5:23 p.m., (MCSO), phone scam, 1700 block of Patrick Henry, Amber Twp., complainant reported someone called him asking for donations for the sheriff’s office. MCSO does not solicit funds over the phone.

– 7:02 p.m., (LPD), property damage accident, 1000 block of E. Diana St.

– 9:49 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injuries, US-10 and Stephens, Custer Twp.
