Shakespeare group to read ‘Hamlet’

LUDINGTON — The Shakespeare Reading Group will begin reading “Hamlet” when it meets Thursday, Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. at the Ludington Area Center for the Arts.

“Hamlet,” is one of the better-known of Shakespeare’s tragedies and has several main characters. SRG participants read the script for the different characters. An informal discussion is held at the end of each scene. This is strictly for fun; no homework is assigned, no tests are given, no grades are awarded.

The group is open to all who have a “Love of Shakespeare,” the group meets once a month for about two hours to read from the works of The Bard.

Participants are asked to bring their own copy of Shakespeare’s works and to contribute $3 toward facility usage ($2 for LACA members). The Ludington Area Center for the Arts is at 107 S.
