Branch Twp. store robbed at gun point.

BRANCH TWP. — Law enforcement is on scene at the Branch Grocery Store, 9455 U.S. 10, investigating an armed robbery that took place there about 6 p.m. Troopers from Michigan State Police along with deputies from Mason County and Lake County sheriffs’ offices are on scene, including K-9 units.

A male suspect being described as 200-pounds, wearing either a gray sweatshirt or black jacket, reportedly robbed the store with a handgun.

Law enforcement seems to be concentrating on an area west of the scene, along Taylor Road.
