6 to compete in Miss Ludington Area pageant.

VICTORY TWP.  — The 2015 Miss Ludington Area Scholarship Pageant will take place Saturday, November 8, beginning at  7 p.m. at West Shore Community College Center Stage Theater.

Six contestants from Mason, Manistee and Oceana counties will be taking the stage to compete in talent, interview, fitness and evening wear for a chance to win the title of Miss Ludington Area was well as scholarship money and awards.

Miss Michigan 2014, KT Maviglia, will be at the event and will be performing a dance called “Be Italian,.” She will also help crown the 30 Pink Princesses during the program.

Tickets are available for the Miss Ludington Area Scholarship Pageant through Friday at 5 p.m. for $8 at the Ludington & Scottville Area Chamber of Commerce office or online at MissLudingtonArea.org. Tickets will be available at the door for $10 on Saturday evening beginning at 6:30pm.

Pink Princess Program

Girls 4-10 years of age are invited to sign-up to be part of the Pink Princess program, happening as part of the Miss Ludington Area Scholarship Pageant.

There is $30 application fee, which supports the scholarship fund for Miss Ludington Area.  Each girl receives a tiara, sash, flower, gift bag, and photo from Photography by Sue Brown. Princesses should wear their favorite pink or white dress. The Pink Princess program is not a competition, everyone is a winner.

Miss Ludington Area Scholarship Pageant is an official Miss Michigan and Miss America Preliminary. Miss Ludington Area represents Mason, Manistee and Oceana counties.
