LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 79th District Court:

– Adam Clayton Shook, 32, of 720 E. Ludington Ave., Apt. 3, Ludington, was found guilty Oct. 6 of disorderly conduct – fighting. He was sentenced to 30 days discretionary jail for one year and $285 in fines and costs.

– Michelle Ann Bezesky-Wroble, 45, of 21 W. Dewey Rd., Scottville, was found guilty Oct. 6 of trespassing. He was sentenced to 30 days discretionary jail for one year; no alcohol/drugs; $265 in fines and costs; must have a substance abuse evaluation and follow recommendations; and must continue counseling with Community Mental Health (CMH).

– Roy Terry Chapman, 52, of 6265 S. Hogenson Rd., Scottville, was found guilty Oct. 6 of disorderly person – disturbing the peace. He was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year; 24 hours of community service; and $285 in fines and costs.

– Dustin Michael Macon, 27, of 2200 87th Ave., Vero Beach, Fla., was found guilty Oct. 6 of driving while license suspended (DWLS). He was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 30 days discretionary jail for one year; and $285 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

– Scott Martin Stillson, 43, of 201 E. 5th St., Scottville, was found guilty Oct. 2 of DWLS and sentenced to $285 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Dominic Rempala, 28, of 182 Ellyn Ave., Glen Ellyn, Ill., was found guilty Sept. 30 of operating while impaired by liquor. He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; outpatient treatment; $981.77 in fines, costs and restitution; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must follow recommendations of alcohol screening agency and report completion of counseling to the court; no alcohol/drugs; and subject to random preliminary breath tests (PBTs). Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of DWLS and one count of PBT refusal were dismissed.

– Wendy Lee Holton, 43, of 821 N. James St., Ludington, was found guilty Sept. 30 of operating with a blood alcohol content (BAC) over .17/super drunk. She was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; outpatient treatment; $1,595 in fines and costs; 180 days discretionary jail for two years; must attend AA twice a week for two years; no alcohol/drugs; and subject to random PBTs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated or under a controlled substance and one count of driver transporting open intoxicants in a motor vehicle were dismissed.

– Dennis Lee Cortland II, 60, of 2071 N. Morrison St., Apt. 5, Mears, was found guilty Sept. 30 of operating while intoxicated or under a controlled substance. He was sentenced to outpatient treatment; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend next session of the Victims Impact Panel (VIP); no alcohol/drugs; $1,108 in fines and costs; and subject to random PBTs. Conviction reportable to SOS.One count of reckless driving was dismissed.

– Jarid Hunter Billings, 21, of 212 E. Melendy St., Ludington, was found guilty Sept. 30 of fighting – disorderly person. He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 30 days discretionary jail for one year; and $600 fines and costs.

– Austin Martin Billings, 22, of 212 E. Melendy St., Ludington, was found guilty Sept. 30 of fighting – disorderly person. He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 30 days discretionary jail for one year; and $600 fines and costs.

– Elizabeth Marie Whitaker, 28, of 5731 W. Limouze St., Ludington, was found guilty Sept. 30 of assault and battery. She was sentenced to 33 days in jail with credit for 33 days served; $413 in fines and costs; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; and no contact with victim.

– Pavel Konstantinovich Rusin, 26, of 1732 Foxhill Ln., Ann Arbor, was found guilty Sept. 30 of operating while intoxicated, second offense. Defendant was sentenced to 31 days in jail with credit for one day served; $1,530 in fines and costs; one year discretionary jail for two years; must report Feb. 1, 2015; must attend Impact Weekend and follow recommendations; if Impact Weekend is completed, jail term will be waived; must attend AA twice a week for one year; no alcohol/drugs; and subject to random PBTs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of failure to display a valid license was dismissed.

– Willis Ray Stewart, 55, of 9980 N. Stephens Rd., Free Soil, was found guilty Oct. 2 of no name/address on tree stand and baiting/violating feed ban. He was sentenced to $185 in fines and costs for each count

Dismissals

– Catherine Anne O’Brien, 57, of 1665 S. Scottville Rd., Scottville, one count of domestic violence was dismissed Oct. 6. “Defendant entered into a prosecutor’s deferment agreement,” court records state.

– Seth Adam Bretschneider, 32, of 103 N. Reinberg Ave., #10, Scottville, one count of DWLS was dismissed. “The interests of justice do not require further prosecution of this case,”  court records state.

– Tara Anthony, no age or address listed, one count of assault was dismissed Oct. 6. “Defendant sentenced on other charges,” court records state.

– Audrey Anna Curran, 22, of 708 E. Foster St., Ludington, one count of retail fraud, third degree was dismissed Oct. 2. “Dismissed per circuit court plea agreement,” court records state.
