79th District Court sentencings

LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 79th District Court:

– Peter James Sagan, 41, of 1011 Monona Dr., Ludington, was found guilty Aug. 3 of allowing a person to drive in violation. He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; $335 in fines and costs; and 90 days discretionary jail for one year.

– Crestino Ray Clever, 33, of 204 S. Harrison St., Ludington, was found guilty Aug. 12 of disorderly person – public intoxication. He was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 30 days discretionary jail for one year; $285 in fines and costs; and no alcohol/drugs.

– Derek Michael Johnson, 24, of 3792 W. Hidden Forest, Ludington, was found guilty Aug. 11 of no alcohol in park after 9 p.m. – city and sentenced to 30 days discretionary jail for one year and $265 in fines and costs.

– Jacob Anthony Lake, 19, of 7060 Ohio Rd., Ludington, was found guilty Aug. 11 of minor in possession (MIP), first offense and sentenced to six months probation; $265 in fines and costs; no alcohol/drugs; and must attend next session of the Victims’ Impact Panel. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

– Anthony Julian Guevara, 20, of 3735 S. Portsmouth Rd., Bridgeport, was found guilty Aug. 11 of MIP, first offense. He was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; $265 in fines and costs; must attend Victims’ Impact Panel. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Aisha Laja Melendy, 35, of 214 E. Melendy St., Apt. 4, Ludington, was found guilty Aug. 11 of disorderly – trespassing/prowling. She was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 30 days discretionary jail for two years; and $285 in fines and costs.

– Brenda Gail Statler, 38, of 1140 Brandy Lane, Lot 64, Ludington, was found guilty Aug. 11 of failure to report an accident. She was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $325 in fines and costs.

– Krystal Lynn Hayes, 29, of 607 E. Danaher St., Ludington, was found guilty Aug. 11 of disorderly – allowing loud party. She was sentenced to 30 days discretionary jail for one year and $285 in fines and costs.

– Craig Steven Lindsey, 50, of 6682 Basswood Lane, Ludington, was found guilty Aug. 5 of operating while intoxicated, second offense. He was sentenced to 32 days in jail with credit for two days served; must report by Dec. 1 unless enrolled in Guiding Light inpatient treatment program; one year discretionary jail for two years; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random preliminary breath tests (PBTs) and drug tests; and $,595 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of driver transporting open intoxicant was dismissed.

– Marcus Markeith Pollard, 45, of 1171 Lyndon, Idlewild, was found guilty Aug. 5 of driving while license suspended (DWLS). He was sentenced to five days in jail with credit for five days served; $535 in fines and costs; one year discretionary jail for one year. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Dismissals

– Autumn Lynn Schwab, 35, of 3065b N. Reek Rd., Custer, one count of domestic violence was dismissed Aug. 6. “The defendant has entered into a prosecutor’s deferment agreement,” court records state.

– Marceline M. Jackson, 33, of 3614 N. Amber Rd., Scottville, one count of domestic violence was dismissed Aug. 6. “The defendant has entered into a prosecutor’s deferment agreement,” court records state.
