Ludington men arrested for toking in car at the Wesco

PERE MARQUETTE TWP. — Deputies from Mason County Sheriff’s Office arrested two Ludington men Monday at 12:42 a.m. for possession of marijuana. The arrest took place after a deputy, who had pulled into the Wesco East Gate parking lot on U.S. 10, had walked past a vehicle and smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. According to Sheriff Kim Cole, the investigation had revealed the two, a 21-year-old and 22-year-old, had been smoking marijuana in the vehicle and were in possession of 7 grams of the drug.

– 1 p.m.: Two vehicle rear-end crash, Jebavy Dr. and Riverside Rd., P.M. Twp.

– 3 p.m.: Trespassing, 2900 block of North Sherman Rd., Hamlin Twp.

– 9:26 p.m.: Probation violation arrest, 4800 N. Cleveland St., Village of Fountain, 38-year-old Fountain man arrested.
