Piano duo performs tonight at Epworth

PERE MARQUETTE TWP. – Ludington Area Center for the Arts is partnering once again this year with the Epworth Church Association to sponsor a concert at the historic Epworth Auditorium, which has been in continuous use for over 100 years.  Captivating Keyboards, a piano duo, will perform tonight at 7:30 p.m.

The public is welcome to the concert featuring pianists Scott Griffin and Alan Tripp.

Scott and Alan began playing duo concerts together back in 2007, and in the following years they were invited to perform at the Instituto de Bellas Artes of Chihuahua, Mexico, Bill Gaither’s Fall Family Festival in Indiana, the Maranatha Bible Conference in Michigan, both Word of Life campuses in New York and Florida, and the Crystal Cathedral in California, in addition to many concerts in the Chicago area where they currently reside. In 2013, they began pursuing concerts full-time performing as Captivating Keyboards as part of their non-profit organization Get Out Of Your Boat Ministries.

The mission of Get Out Of Your Boat Ministries is to provide creative and engaging concert experiences to audiences everywhere regardless of financial means. Through their interactive musical productions, Griffin and Tripp encourage their audiences to join them in supporting other charitable organizations such as Kids Alive International.

Donations are encouraged as payment for tickets to this event.  Tickets are available at the Ludington Area Center for the Arts office or the Epworth Church Office.  Tickets will also be available at the door.  Donations will also be accepted at the event to support Ludington Area Center for the Arts and Epworth Church Association and their continuing efforts to bring quality performing arts events to the community.

Scott Griffin and Alan Tripp will perform as Captivating Keyboards on Wednesday, July 9 at 7:30pm at Epworth Auditorium, located on the grounds at Epworth Heights on North Lakeshore Drive just across from Cartier Campground.
