Scottville man arrested for license violation

AMBER TWP. — Deputies from Mason County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 36-year-old Scottville man for driving in violation of a restricted license Monday. The arrest took place after a traffic stop at 7:19 p.m. at U.S. 10 and U.S. 31 bypass.

Other activity of the sheriff’s office for Monday, June 23, 2014 included:

– 5:01 a.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Pere Marquette Hwy. and Oceana Dr., Summit Twp.

– 5:38 a.m.: Driving while license suspended citation, U.S. 10 and Campbell Rd., Branch Twp.

– 1:41 p.m.: Assist to Michigan State Police, Walhalla Shores, Branch Twp.

– 2:02 p.m.: Intoxicated person, 3900 block of West Chauvez Rd., Riverton Twp.

– 7:07 p.m.: Hit and run crash, no injuries, 5800 block of West U.S. 10, Pere Marquette Twp.

– 7:17 p.m.: Alarm activation, 5500 block of Otter Ridge, Hamlin Twp.

– 10:26 p.m.: Fireworks complaint, Sandra Kay and Campbell roads, Branch Twp.

– 10:30 p.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, U.S. 31 and Oceana Dr., Summit Twp.
