June 13, 2014

LUDINGTON — The public is invited to a science of music program Monday, June 16, 11 a.m. at the Mason County District Library in Ludington, 217 East Ludington Avenue.   The Science of Music is a hand-clapping, foot-stomping, feel-good rock and roll program that lightly touches on the technical aspects of music making, for example: sound waves, acoustics, and how vibrations make sound. Also mentioned is the evolving technology of music and sound reproduction as well as a brief glance into the history of rock and roll.  Much more music than talk, all will enjoy this popular presentation. Children under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult.  All Mason County District Library programs are free.
