Visitor center volunteers needed

LUDINGTON — The Ludington Area Convention & Visitors Bureau  is seeking volunteers to staff the downtown Ludington Visitor Information Center for the 2014 tourism season.

The downtown visitors center is operated by roughly 30 volunteers and serves several thousand people from mid-May through October. It will officially open on Memorial Day weekend. Hours at the downtown location are Monday through Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday noon to 3 p.m.

The CVB is looking to fill several shifts on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday afternoons. Those who are interested in volunteering are asked to contact Brandy Henderson at 231.845.5430.
