Great Start Collaborative playgroups

The Mason-Lake-Oceana Great Start Collaborative provides free weekly playgroups for children ages 0-5 and their parents or caregivers in 3 locations within Mason County. Playgroup is an opportunity for children to learn, grow, and play while participating in developmentally appropriate activities. It is designed to build on the strengths of families as we share creative ways to encourage children to build their skills. Parents will have time to meet and talk to other parents as well as learn about local resources and other family supports.

The Mason County Playgroup schedule is as follows:

Custer- Mason County Eastern Early Childhood Center every Friday from 10 to 11 a.m.

Ludington- Pere Marquette Early Childhood Center every Friday from 9:30- 10:45 am

Scottville- Scottville Library every Monday from 10:00- 11:15 am

Playgroups do not meet if school is not in session due to weather, holidays, or staff   professional development days, regardless of their location.
