Manistee County Press courts reporter

Manistee County Press is looking for someone who will report on Manistee County courts. The primary responsibility will be to provide a weekly report of district court and circuit court sentencings along with district court arraignments.

Further responsibilities may also include covering newsworthy circuit court hearings and trials.

Journalism experience and a knowledge of the Manistee County court system are a plus.

This is a freelance position. Payment is made per contribution. There is a possibility of increased reporting responsibilities in the future.
