Several arrested over weekend for various offenses

Deputies from Mason County Sheriff’s Office arrested several people over the weekend. The following is the activity of the sheriff’s office road patrol from Feb. 21 to Feb. 23, 2014:

Feb. 21:

9:29 a.m.: Two vehicle sideswipe crash, no injuries, Tuttle and Decker roads, Sherman Twp.

3:52 p.m.: A 22-year-old Allendale man was arrested on an outstanding Mason County Friend of the Court warrant at Hidden Forest, Amber Twp.

5:12 p.m.: Two vehicle broadside crash, minor injuries — self treated, Dennis and Johnson roads, Amber Twp.

10:48 p.m.: Suspicious situation, 4300 N. Lincoln Rd., Hamlin Twp. Suspicious vehicle seen in the area.

Feb. 22:

12:22 a.m.: Assist to citizen, Benson and Decker roads, Branch Twp.

10:01 a.m.: Fraudulent activity, unauthorized use of a credit card, Pere Marquette Twp.

6:15 p.m.: Assist Ludington Police Dept. with traffic crash, Tinkham and Rowe streets, City of Ludington.

10:52 p.m.: A 41-year-old Scottville man was arrested for driving while license suspended first appearance citation, following a traffic stop at U.S. 10 and PM Hwy., PM Twp.

Feb. 23

12:51 a.m.: A 28-year-old Walhalla man was cited for driving while license suspended first offense following a traffic stop at Stiles and Dewey roads in Victory Twp.

1:45 a.m.: Deputies arrested a 19-year-old Manistee man for zero tolerance following a traffic stop at U.S. 10 and Fountain Rd. in Sherman Twp. They also issued citations for minor in possession to an 18-year-old Manistee woman and a 19-year-old Manistee man, passengers in the vehicle.

3:23 a.m.: Alarm activation, 5400 block of West U.S. 10, PM Twp.

4:42 a.m.: A 20-year-old Ludington man was arrested for possession of marijuana following a traffic stop at Lakeshore Dr. and Decker Rd. in Hamlin Twp.

9:18 a.m. Car/turkey crash, no injuries, Free Soil and Tuttle roads, Free Soil Twp.
