House fire in Amber Twp.

AMBER TWP. — Scottville Fire Department was called to 2995 W. Hansen Road shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday morning for a report of a chimney fire. Before firefighters arrived, the fire spread beyond the chimney. Scottville Fire Chief Dale Larr then requested assistance from Pere Marquette Twp. Fire Dept. Within 30 minutes of the first fire truck arriving on scene, Larr reported the fire had been knocked down.
