The first topic will be a brief presentation on Motivating Generation Y. The event will take place at the Bookmark in downtown Ludington from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Admission is $5 for members, $10 for non-members, and includes a continental breakfast.

With many baby boomers retiring, more and more companies are filling vacant positions with Gen Y (people between the ages of 18-28). This generation communicates and is motivated very differently than prior generations.

Future networking breakfasts will continue to feature short, dynamic presentations on topics relevant to running a successful business or organization.  Interested chamber members are invited to sponsor networking breakfast events. Sponsorship is an easy way to gain connections among engaged local community members and business people. Sponsors have the opportunity to share their message with the audience of attendees and are featured in all promotional efforts to chamber members and local media. Sponsors select the venue and provide the breakfast menu. Everything else is included in the sponsorship fee which covers marketing and a pre-arranged informative business-related presentation.
