Fountain man arrested Christmas Day on 3 warrants

PERE MARQUETTE TWP. — A 24-year-old Fountain man was on three naughty lists for Christmas. During a traffic stop on Christmas Day deputies from Mason County Sheriff’s Office arrested the man for three outstanding warrants. The warrants included failure to appear in Mason County’s 79th District Court, failure to appear in Clare County’s 80th District Court and dangerous drugs charge from Mason County’s 51st Circuit Court. The traffic stop occurred at 9:48 p.m. at the corner of Rasmussen Road and Brandy Lane. He was lodged in the Mason County jail.

– 5:27 p.m.: Harassment/unwanted person complaint, Family Dollar, 5900 block of W. U.S. 10, PM Twp. Subject left before arrival of police.

Dec. 25:

– 12:09 a.m.: Assist to Michigan State Police, 6900 E. First St., Branch Twp, assist with assault complaint. Case closed.

– 1:30 p.m.: Single vehicle crash, no injuries, U.S. 31 expressway and Oceana Drive, Summit Twp.
