Art center to hold ‘Light’ exhibit

LUDINGTON — The Ludington Area Center for the Arts will hold a “Light” exhibit, a juried show of 2D, 3D, video or musical media exploring the word “light” in all of its meanings. Artists working in all media are invited to give creative interpretations of subject matter for this early spring show. Linda Sandow, one of the organizers of the show said, ”We want the theme of light to be a bridge between the darkness of winter and the coming of spring.”

The application for the show is due February 1, 2014. Entry forms are available at www.ludingtonartscenter.org or at LACA, 107 S. Harrison Street. There is a limit of three works with a cost of $5 for each image for members and $10 each for non-members. Works previously displayed at LACA are not eligible.

Electronic entries may use JPEG format and PayPal payment. Hand delivered or U.S. Postal Service entries require CD or photographs with payment by check to the Ludington Area Center for the Arts. Artists will be mailed acceptance notices after February 14 and entries are due February 21.
