Here are the current conditions for the Lake Michigan shoreline and Mason County (including Pentwater) as of 11 a.m. today.

The City of Ludington has re-opened the breakwaters. The city closed the breakwaters Tuesday due to weather conditions.

Lake Michigan water temperatures: (These temperatures are from Tuesday. Wednesday temperatures were not available as of posting).

Ludington Stearns Park: 53 F

Ludington State Park (Big Sable Point): 53 F

Summit Park: 64 F

Pentwater: 67 F

Afternoon air temperatures:

Ludington: Partly cloudy with temperatures reaching 72 degrees F. Humidity: 49%; wind: north-northwest at 9 mph.

Scottville and Pentwater: Partly cloudy with temperatures reaching 74 degrees F. Humidity: 41%; wind: northwest at 10 mph.
