SCOTTVILLE — The annual Scottville Clown Band Patriotic Concert is tonight, 7 p.m., at the Scottville Clown Band Shell. In conjunction with the concert, the annual Hospice Fun Day carnival starts at 4 p.m. and runs until the start of the concert. The carnival features games and prizes for children.
The annual patriotic concert is unlike any other Clown Band concert. The band plays what the late “Big George” Wilson (former street leader) used to call its “serious show.” The concert celebrates music of Americana.
The show will go on unless there is pouring rain.
The Scottville Main Street Farmers’ Market is also going on from 4 to 7:30 p.m. in the west parking lot.
