Man injured in U.S. 10 crash

AMBER TWP. — An 88-year-old man was hospitalized Sunday following a traffic crash on U.S. 10-31 near Quarterline Road. According to the Mason County Sheriff’s Office, the Manistee man made a left turn from west U.S. 10-31 onto Quarterline Road into the path of an east-bound vehicle.

The 88-year-old man was airlifted from the scene to Spectrum Hospital in Grand Rapids where he is listed in critical condition as of 7 a.m. today. The crash remains under investigation with more details expected later today.
