Robin Radtke and Jared Seymour first met in 2008 at the Ludington branch of the Mason County District Library, where they were both employed. They began dating on July 26, 2009. Two years later, on Oct. 9, 2011, under a full moon, Jared proposed to Robin in the city park.

They will marry at the bride’s family home, a centennial farm in Victory Township, four years and one day after they began dating.  Following their wedding, the couple will move to Madison, Wisc., where Jared will begin enrollment, and employment as a graduate student assistant, in the Ph.D. program in literary studies at University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Robin is the daughter of Thurman and Kathleen Radtke of Ludington. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Central Michigan University in 2008 with a major in English and a Master of Library and Information Sciences degree from Drexel University in 2010. She is currently employed by the Mason County District Library and West Shore Community College.

Jared is the son of Doug and Michelle Seymour of Ludington. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Central Michigan University in 2013 with a major in English. In the fall of 2013 he will serve as a graduate student assistant while attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
