Parent Coalition to host mayoral candidates

LUDINGTON — The Mason County Parent Coalition will host three of the four City of Ludington Mayoral candidates at its next meeting scheduled at Sandcastles Children’s Museum on Tuesday, May 28^th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Ryan Cox, Pete Engblade and Dave Kosla will attend the May meeting to present a brief summary of their platforms and for a question and answer session with Mason County parents with children between the ages of 0 and 12. Due to a scheduling conflict, Wally Taranko will not be able to attend this event, but will be in attendance at the July Mason County Parent Coalition Meeting.

Children whose parents are attending the meeting will receive admission to Sandcastles upper level courtesy of the Great Start Parent Coalition while their parents enjoy the guest speaker and meeting in the downstairs meeting room. Dinner and childcare will also be provided. Mason County families with children between the ages of 0-12 are invited to attend.

The Mason County Parent Coalition is part of the Mason-Lake-Oceana Great Start Collaborative which works to assure a coordinated system of community resources and support to help all families in the tri-county area provide a great start for their children from pre-birth to age five.
