Man arrested for strangulation, CSC against 2 women

LUDINGTON — A 24-year-old Ludington man was arrested last Saturday for assault/strangulation and criminal sexual conduct fourth degree against two Ludington women.

Donald Jacob Beck, 24, of 409 N. William St., faces felony charges following his arrest by Ludington Police Department. Chief Mark Barnett said the incident happened Friday, April 26. Police were called to the 500 block of East Melendy Street at 11:42 p.m.

Barnett said the charges stemmed from alleged forcible, non-penetrating touching and strangulation of two women ages 17 and 21.
A preliminary exam in 79th District Court is scheduled for May 9 at 11:15 a.m. Beck is being lodged in Mason County Jail with bail set a $35,000 cash/surety.
