New information expected in Baby Kate case

LUDINGTON — Local law enforcement is expected to release new information about the Katherine “Baby Kate” Phillips case Wednesday morning . Chief Mark Barnett stated that the new information is related to the use of forensic methods in the investigation.

Katherine Phillips was 4-months-old when she was abducted by her father, Sean Michael Phillips in June 2011. Sean was found guilty last April for unlawful imprisonment and is currently serving a 15 year prison sentence. Immediately after his conviction, Ludington Police Department announced it had opened a murder investigation.
