MCC expected to approve union contract

SCOTTVILLE – The Mason County Central board of education is expected to recommend its contract with its transportation and food service personnel during its regular meeting tonight.

Superintendent Jeff Mount, in his pre-meeting notes, told the board the union has voted in favor of the contract and he is recommending the board do the same. The board will meet in closed session before it takes action on the contract.

The board is also expected to hire Cheri Stibitz as the varsity girls soccer coach and Karl Shafer and Kyle Cameron as co-junior varsity baseball coaches.

The board meets in the high school conference room at 7 p.m.
