LUDINGTON — The Ludington City Council is expected to re-hire City Manager John Shay during tonight’s meeting. In addition it will appoint the Downtown Ludington Board and the Planning Commission. The council is also expected to take action on a change of date for the Ludington triathlon. Council had approved Aug. 25 as the date, but there apparently was a mis-understanding with the company that holds the race, which wanted Aug. 18.
