Art center cancels class

LUDINGTON — The Ludington Area Center for the Arts regretfully announces the cancellation of “Cardboard Sculpture and Collage for Elementary Students” scheduled for Saturday, September 22 due to low registration.  The Arts Center would like to encourage everyone to promote and register for classes offered at the Center.  With your help, LACA can fulfill its mission to promote, support and encourage participation in and appreciation for arts and culture for the benefit of everyone in the Ludington area.

Registration is still open for a second workshop, “Wood Rubbings with Mixed Media”, scheduled for Saturday, September 29 from 1:00 to 2:30pm.  This class is intended for students in grades 5-9.  Weathered lumber and paints will be supplied and the cost of the workshop is just $10 per student.  To register, call the Arts Center at 231-845-2787, or stop by the office at 107 N. Harrison.  Space is limited.
