Win with Wellness Michigan challenge

January 10, 2012
Win with Wellness is challenging the community to collectively walk, run, ski, skate, swim or snowshoe the distance around Michigan’s Lower Peninsula, which is roughly 1,155 miles.
Between January 1, 2012 and March 15, 2012, area residents are encouraged to track how many miles they walk, run, cross country ski, ice skate, swim or snowshoe. Tracking forms will be available during indoor walking events on Wednesday January 11 from 5 to 6 p.m. at Mason County Central Schools, and Thursday January 12 from 4 to 5 p.m. at Mason County Eastern Schools. About 20 local residents participated in a Win with Wellness sponsored indoor walking event on Monday at Ludington High School.  Residents who are unable to attend the school walking events may print a tracking form by clicking here (I’m attaching the form).
Tracking forms can be turned in during the Win with Wellness educational event on March 15, 2012 at 6pm in the Ludington High School cafeteria, or they may be mailed to:
Memorial Medical Center
ATTN: Win with Wellness

Forms submitted by mail must be postmarked by Friday, March 9, 2012.
The total miles from the “Move around the Mitt” challenge will be revealed during the March 15 educational event. Those who submit their tracking form will be entered into a drawing to win a one year membership to the West Shore Community College Recreation Center, which includes use of the pool, spa, gymnasium, free weight room, racquetball court and Wellness Center. The winner will be announced during the March 15 educational event.
