Media Sales Representative

Media Group 31 LLC is looking for a hard working, dedicated and experienced sales person to sell advertising for its online services for its e-newspapers: MasonCountyPress.com, OceanaCountyPress.com and ManisteeCountyPress.com. Sales market includes Mason, Manistee, Oceana and Lake counties along with northern Muskegon County.

This is an independent contractor position. The candidate must have his/her own transportation, a smart phone and a tablet.

Other helpful traits include:

  • Successful sales experience.
  • Successful customer service experience.
  • Knowledge in marketing and branding, with emphasis on online.
  • A familiarity with the business culture of Mason, Manistee and Oceana counties.
  • Geographical knowledge of Mason, Manistee and Oceana counties.
  • A willingness to network and participate in networking opportunities.
  • A familiarity with the Media Group 31 websites.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Business/marketing degree.
  • Knowledge of social marketing and the ability to keep up on trends.
  • Flexible schedule.
