Due to a vacancy for the District 1 Mason County Commissioner position, an appointment (see MCL. 46.412) will need to be made to fill this position for the remainder of the term, which expires December 31, 2020.

Interested applicants must be a registered voter and a resident of the Mason County Commissioner District 1 (which includes City of Ludington Wards 1, 2, & 3). Please submit your letter of interest and resume no later than 2 p.m. local time on Monday, April 29, 2019 to the following address:

The appointment will be made at a Special board meeting  to be held Monday, May 6, 2019 at 7 p.m. Interested applicants should plan on attending this meeting to address the board.
