The photograph on the right is of the Father Marquette Memorial on the Buttersville Peninsula. Today’s weather started out with rain that has now turned to snow.

CUSTER — A snow day at Fremont Providence High School caused the Mason County Eastern homecoming game to be postponed from Friday to this afternoon. The Cardinals defeated Fremont 48-40.
