Police busy with crashes.

The following is activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office Monday, Sept. 27, 2021:

  • 7:18 a.m., car/deer crash, no injuries, Stephens Road near Dewey Road, Sherman Township.
  • 2:50 p.m., two-vehicle crash involving minor injuries, Pere Marquette Highway just south of US 10, Pere Marquette, Township. A vehicle made a left turn out of a business drive traveling north, failing to yield to oncoming traffic, according to Mason County Undersheriff Derek Wilson. The vehicle struck another vehicle traveling north on Pere Marquette Highway. Minor injuries were reported by the 54-year-old driver who was struck. Medical treatment was declined at the scene.
