Man arrested for meth possession, absconding parole.

LUDINGTON — A 30-year-old Ludington man was arrested by Ludington police officers Wednesday, Sept. 22, shortly after 3:30 p.m. in the 300 block of East Court Street​ on a warrant issued by Mason County’s 79th District Court for possession of methamphetamine and a warrant issued by the Lansing Tether Unit for being a parole absconder, according to Cpt. Steve Wietrzykowski. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

• 9:12 a.m., ​(Ludington Police Department), a 52-year-old Ludington man was arrested on a failure to appear warrant issued by Mason County’s 79th District Court, 300 block of West Filer Street, City of Ludington. ​The original charge was “jostling — public fighting. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 5:05 p.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, Conrad Road west of Amber Road, Amber Township.
• 7:50 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Sugar Grove Road west of Amber Road, Victory Township.
• ​9:47 p.m., (LPD), a 39-year-old Ludington man was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS), ​Fifth and Madison streets, City of Ludington.
