79th District Court news, posted Sept. 23, 2021.

LUDINGTON — The following criminal proceedings took place in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

Felony Arraignments

Lilleberg

-Darrick Cole Lilleberg, 26, of 2322 E. US 10, Custer, was arrested Sept. 19 by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) on three felony counts of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer. Probable cause hearing: Sept. 29 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $250 cash.

 

 

 

Misdemeanor Arraignments

-Matthew James Herlein, 38, of 3673 W. Woodview Dr, Amber Township; Sept. 11; Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO); operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI) and second offense driving while license suspended. Pretrial: TBD. Bail: $250 cash.

-London Dacquiri Cage, 51, of 105 S. Wildwood Xing, Apt. 3, Amber Township; Sept. 15; Ludington Police Department (LPD); OWI. Pretrial: Oct. 25 at 9:45 a.m. Bail: $250 cash.

-Kenneth Darryl Coleman, 58, no address listed; Aug. 25; MCSO; third degree retail fraud. Pretrial: Sept. 20 at 10 a.m. Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.

-Caitlin Leigh Myler, 31, of 664 Midway Ave., Holland; Sept. 20; Scottville Police Department (SPD); operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .17 or more. Pretrial: Oct. 25 at 1 p.m. Bail: $250 cash.

Dismissals

-Carl Hugh Weiler, 32, of 218 S. Bean Rd., Custer Township, had a charge of failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance) dismissed on Sept. 17 after pleading guilty to a civil infraction.

-Dustin Michael Jewett, 30, of 601 N. Rowe St., Apt. 1, Ludington, had a charge of driving on a suspended license dismissed on Sept. 17 as part of a felony plea agreement. 

-Lancelot Christopher Peebles, 28, of 306 E. State St., Scottville, had a charge of disturbing the peace dismissed on Sept. 16 as part of a felony plea agreement.

-Joseph Michael LeClair, 61, of 3516 Rasmussen Rd., Pere Marquette Township, had charges of second degree home invasion and breaking and entering dismissed on Sept. 16 as part of a plea agreement.
