Test drive a bus at Ludington schools.

LUDINGTON — Have you ever wanted to drive a school bus? You’ll have an opportunity to do so on Friday, Oct. 1 when Ludington Area Schools transportation department holds a Test Drive a School Bus event in the parking lot behind Hawley Gymnasium at Ludington High School.

The event will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. and will include an obstacle course set up with trainers to assist drivers to meander around the obstacles.  It is open to all persons ages 18 years and older.  A valid driver license is required.

Those interested in becoming a substitute bus driver will receive free paid training, free Department of Transportation physical and reimbursement for driver’s license.
