79th District Court sentencings, posted July 15, 2021.

LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

-Joseph Wesley Baxter, 71, of 411 S. Elm St., Scottville, pleaded guilty July 13 to operating a vehicle while impaired by liquor (OUIL) and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; must complete alcohol highway safety education; and $895 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State (SOS).

-Brody Christopher Woods, 21, of 676 N. Stiles Rd., Amber Township, pleaded no contest July 6 to malicious destruction of property and was sentenced to 26 days in jail with credit for 26 days served; one year discretionary jail for one year; may not purchase, possesses or consume alcohol; subject to random PBTs and $735 in fines/costs. 

-Robert Allen Gramza, 55, of 206 Cleveland St., Manistee, pleaded guilty July 6 to operating a vehicle with a high blood alcohol content and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 180 days discretionary jail for two years; no drugs/alcohol; must obtain Soberlink; and $895 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

-Jarred Lee Jones, 21, of 206 Crowley St., Scottville, pleaded guilty July 6 to malicious destruction of property and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; $1,750 in restitution; and $135 in fines/costs.

-Danalda Evaline Stansell, 47, of 154 W. Parkdale Ave., Manistee, pleaded guilty July 6 to operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI) and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail for one year; must complete Alcohol Highway Safety Education; must attend Victim’s Impact Panel; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; and $1095 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

-Harley Michael Fisher, 25, of 1779 N. Tallman Lake Rd., Fountain, pleaded no contest July 6 to operating a vehicle while impaired by liquor (OUIL) and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must complete SBIRT program; must attend Victim’s Impact Panel; no alcohol; subject to random PBTs and $870 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

-Richard Matthew Fisher, 38, of 4954 S. Eden Lake Rd., Eden Township, pleaded guilty July 13 to operating a vehicle with a high blood alcohol content and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 180 days discretionary jail for two years; must obtain Soberlink for six months; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; must attend victim’s impact panel; must complete substance use disorder treatment; and $895 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

-Tina Marie Miller, 61, of 2582 E. Michigan Ave., Free Soil, pleaded guilty July 13 to malicious destruction of property and was sentenced to pay $285 in fines/costs.

Dismissals

-Donald Thomas Miller, 33, of 5405 W. Rasmussen Rd., Pere Marquette Township, had charges of unlawful driving away of a motor vehicle and fourth offense habitual offender dismissed on July 7.

-Isaiah G. Gardenhire, 40, of 4183 S. Isabella Rd., Mt. Pleasant, had charges of second degree criminal sexual conduct and third offense habitual offender dismissed on July 12.
