Drunk driving arrests top police activity.

The following is police activity in Mason County Monday, June 28, 2021:

  • 4:02 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office) car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway south of Meisenheimer Road, Summit Township.
  • 5:30 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Budzynski Road south of Bennett Road, Meade Township.
  • 1:14 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 28-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on an outstanding failure to appear warrant issued by Mason County’s 79th District Court, Jackson Road and Ludington Avenue, City of Ludington.​ The original charge was a traffic offense. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 3:25 p.m., (MCSO), a 24-year-old Fountain man was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS) following a traffic stop, US 10 and Benson Road, Branch Township.
  • 4:20 p.m., (MCSO), a 27-year-old Fountain woman was arrested on an outstanding failure to appear warrant issued in Mason County, 6600 block of East Borowski Road, Sheridan Township. She was released roadside after posting a $250 bond.
  • 7:12 p.m., (MCSO), a 45-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for operating while intoxicated (OWI) and DWLS following a traffic stop, US 10 and Jebavy Drive, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 10:37 p.m., (MCSO), a 19 year-old Branch man was arrested for OWI following a traffic stop, Decker and Sherman roads, Hamlin Township.
