51st Circuit Court sentencings, May 12, 2021.

LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 51st Circuit Court:

Latimer

– Deshawn Erik Latimer, 23, of 580 Cherry St., Baldwin, was found guilty Feb. 23, 2021, of third-offense domestic violence and was sentenced May 4 to serve seven months of a one-year discretionary jail term with credit for 125 days served; two years probation; no contact with victim; and $798 in fines and costs. One count of assault with intent to do harm less than murder was dismissed, along with a fourth-offense habitual offender designation.

– Kenneth Edward Field, 29, of 6735 Vernetta Dr., Ludington, was found guilty March 9, 2021 of controlled substance possession — less than 25 grams and maintaining a drug house and was sentenced to one year probation with credit for two days served in jail and $926 in fines and costs.

Field

– Brent Norman Ginter, 28, of 110 Elm St., Manistee, was found guilty March 9, 2021 of controlled substance possession — less than 25 grams with a third-offense habitual offender designation and was sentenced May 4 to 18 months probation with credit for 118 days served in jail and $798 in fines and costs.

Ginter

– Terryn Dewayne Borgh, 23, of 311 N. Lavinia St., Ludington, was found guilty March 9, 2021 of domestic violence and was sentenced May 4 to 151 days in jail with credit for 151 days served and $125 in fines and costs. One count of interfering with electronic communications was dismissed. In a separate file, Borgh was found guilty of domestic violence and interfering with electronic communications and was sentenced to 154 days in jail (93 days for count one) with credit for 154 days served; 18 months probation; and $648 in fines and costs. One count of assault with intent to harm less than murder with a second-offense habitual designation was dismissed.

Borgh

– Anthony Andrus Vaughn, 35, of 802 N. Rowe St., Ludington, was found guilty March 9, 2021 of assault with a weapon and was sentenced May 4 to six months in jail with credit for one day served; two years probation; and $658 in fines and costs. Restitution is reserved for 60 days. One count of assault with intent to do harm less than murder was dismissed. 

Vaughn

– Amber Jean Sanders, 29, of 710 E. Fourth St., Ludington, was found guilty Feb. 25, 2021 of delivery/manufacture of methamphetamine and was sentenced April 13 to two years probation with credit for two days served and $658 in fines and costs.

– Andrew Robert Bates, 30, of 1761 E. 56th St., Chase, Michigan, was found guilty March 1, 2021 of controlled substance delivery less than 50 grams and was sentenced April 13 to $858 in fines and costs with credit for four days served in jail.

Sanders

– Austin James McCumber, 25, of 602 E. Danaher St., Ludington, was found guilty Feb. 23, 2021 of methamphetamine possession and was sentenced to 144 days in jail with credit for 144 days served; six months probation; and $598 in fines and costs. One count of controlled substance possession less than 25 grams was dismissed.

Bates

– Robbie Lee Vance, 67, of 6169 Meeuwenberg Dr., Twin Lake, was found guilty Feb. 2, 2021 of third-offense operating while intoxicated and was sentenced April 6 to serve 30 days up front of a one-year discretionary jail term with credit for two days served; three years probation; and $1,208 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State.

McCumber

– Kali Nichole Royce, 34, of 10750 S. Sheridan Rd., Fenwick, Michigan, was found guilty Feb. 23, 2021 of receiving and concealing stolen property and lying to a police officer and was sentenced April 6 to 176 days in jail with credit for 176 days served; 18 months probation; and $926 in fines and costs. Two counts of larceny less than $200 and one count of unlawfully driving away a vehicle were dismissed.
