3 sustain ‘non-life-threatening’ injuries in crash.

AMBER TOWNSHIP — Three people were transported by Life EMS to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital following a rollover crash in the 2000 block of Johnson Road east of Stiles Road Wednesday, May 5, at 12:30 a.m., according to the Hart post of the Michigan State Police.

“Non-life-threatening” injuries were reported, and speed may have been a factor in the crash, police said. The vehicle struck several trees and overturned. Alcohol and drugs were not involved, according to MSP.

  • 10:10 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), three-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 at Meyers Road, Amber Township.

Thursday, May 6, 2021:

  • 12:35 a.m., (MCSO), an 18-year-old Ludington man was cited for operating without a license following a traffic stop, Pere Marquette Highway near Conrad Road, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 5:13 p.m., (MCSO), a 35-year-old Fountain man was arrested for probation violation following an investigation by deputies, 4000 block of Barothy Road, Branch Township. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 3:40 p.m., (MCSO), a 55-year-old Manistee man was arrested for operating while intoxicated following a traffic stop, Green Road near West Forest Trail, Grant Township.  He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
