MCC High School announces end-of-year events. 

SCOTTVILLE — Mason County Central High School has announced its schedule of end-of-year events.

  • Monday, May 10: National Honor Society induction ceremony, 7 p.m. high school.
  • Saturday, May 15: Junior/Senior Prom, 8 to 10 p.m., Spartan Community Field. Dinner provided by The Cluck Bucket food truck; spirit week class competitions on football field, juniors vs. seniors. Prom court introduction and crowning of king and queen. Fireworks to follow. 
  • Saturday, May 22: prom rain date. 
  • Monday, May 17: Senior meeting, 10:45 a.m., main gym.
  • Wednesday, May 19: Senior H.G. Bacon Academic Excellence Awards Ceremony, 7 p.m., main gym. 
  • Tuesday, May 25, senior picnic and awards, Spartan Community Field, 1 p.m.; May 25, rain date.
  • Friday, May 28, drive-in graduation, 7 p.m., high school parking lot. Live streamed on Mason County Press and broadcasted on 94.9 FM.; May 29 rain date, 2 p.m.; May 30, second rain date, 2 p.m.
