2 drivers cited following separate crashes.

The following is recent police activity in Mason County:

Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021:

  • 11:19 a.m., (Michigan State Police), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, US 10 near Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township. One of the drivers who is a Mason County resident (age and hometown unavailable) was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS).
  • 7:05 p.m., (MSP), a 31-year-old Ludington woman was arrested at the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) for failure to appear on a fugitive warrant pending transport to Lake County, City of Ludington.

Thursday, Feb. 18, 2021:

  • 10:56 a.m., (MCSO), retail fraud, 4400 block of US 10, Amber Township. The case is under investigation.

Friday, Feb. 19, 2021:

  • 2:23 a.m., (MCSO), a 33-year-old Ludington woman was cited for DWLS following a traffic stop, 6th Street near Sherman Street, City of Ludington.
  • 9:35 a.m., (MSP), a 43-year-old Manistee man was cited for operating without insurance following a two-vehicle crash, North White birch Drive near North Brookridge Road, Amber Township. No injuries reported.
