The Scoop: LASD’s Giving Tree.

The Scoop is a presentation of Betten Baker Ford of Ludington and West Shore Bank.

LUDINGTON — Today on The Scoop, Kate Krieger-Watkins speaks with Michelle Kiesel of Ludington Area School District and Becky Erickson of United Way about the LASD 2020 Giving Tree Program. The program helps area families celebrate the holidays. The program was created in 2017, through the efforts of LASD school counselors and the Mason County Family Link to better coordinate the various individual school programs into one district wide program that covers students from pre-k through high school. The Giving Tree, along with the county-wide Shop with a Cop/Shop with a Hero program, serve to help area families over the holiday season.

Any size donation is accepted; a donation of $125 helps one family. Donations can be made at PayPal or by sending a check to Ludington Area School District Giving Tree, 809 E. Tinkham Ave., Ludington, MI 49431.
