The following is police activity in Mason County over the weekend:

Friday, Oct. 23, 2020:

– 3:18 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), ​a 22-year-old Muskegon man was arrested for third-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) following a traffic stop, US 10 and Dennis Road, Amber Township.

– 6:38 a.m., (MCSO), failure to report a crash, Fountain and Stiles roads, Victory Township. A report will be sent to the Mason County Prosecutor’s Office for potential charges following a one-vehicle rollover crash. No one was injured.

Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020:

– 7:05 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Angling Road south of Victory Drive, Hamlin Township.

– 3:23 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Masten Road south of Hawley Road, Logan Township.

– 3:44 p.m., (MCSO), larceny of a trail camera, Tyndall Road near 40th Avenue, Branch Township. The complainant reported that a trail camera was stolen from a tree stand on his property.

– 4:34 p.m., (Michigan State Police), domestic assault, under investigation, 3000 block of Washington Road, Riverton Township.

– 7:49 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, US 31 north of Free Soil Road, Grant Township.

– 8:11 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, Stiles and West Hansen roads, Amber Township.

– 8:49 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Wilson Road east of Scottville Road, Custer Township.

– 10:37 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 north of Sugar Grove Road, Sherman Township.

Sunday, Oct. 25, 2020:

– 4:42 a.m., (MCSO), a 24 year-old Branch man was arrested for domestic assault by strangulation following a 911 call reporting an assault, 600 block of South Reek Road, Custer Township.

– 1:18 p.m., (MSP), a 37-year-old Hart man was cited for operating without a license, Pere Marquette Highway and Meisenheimer Road, Summit Township.

– 1:57 p.m., (MCSO), alarm activation, City of Ludington.

– 3:03 p.m., (MSP), a 58-year-old Bryan, Ohio woman was arrested for disturbing the peace and resisting/obstructing police, Buttersville Park, Pere Marquette Township.
