SCOTTVILLE — Mason County sheriff’s deputies responded Thursday, Aug. 6, to reports of several vehicles that had been broken into overnight, Aug. 5, in the 400 block of North Thomas Street, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

“Deputies spoke with three persons who had reported vehicles entered,” Cole said. The case remains under investigation.

Other MCSO activity Thursday includes:

– 10:18 a.m., larceny of baby clothing and toys from a storage unit, West Hoague Road, Grant Township.

– 5:05 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway south of the Ludington rest area, Summit Township.
